Walcott is a small coastal village in the north Norfolk district of England. It is located at the mouth of the River Bure, eight miles northeast of the city of Norwich. The village has a population of around 1,500 people, and its main attractions are its long sandy beach and its picturesque harbour.

The area of Walcott has been inhabited since the Iron Age, and the name Walcott is thought to be derived from the Old English words ‘wealh' and ‘cot', meaning ‘foreigner's cottage'.
